Hi Everyone,

Unbelievable! Summer Camp 2010 has just one week left and because of your commitment to us we have had another great season working with your young athletes.

We have become one of the biggest camps in Ventura County. In fact, the summer camp record is 368, which we accomplished during the summer camp season of 2009. We have already had 359 baseball players in camp this summer. We understand that without you we are nothing but another summer camp and we don't ever want to be just another summer camp. We work hard to accomplish the mantra of the Magdaleno Baseball School, which is "Communication, Composure, Competitiveness, Courage, Class". We call those words "THE FIVE C's". Live them off the field and on the field and you can't help but become a success.

To thank you for all that you have done for the Magdaleno Baseball School we would like to announce that for the first time ever the final week of camp will be "FAMILY APPRECIATION WEEK!"

On behalf of our organization we would like to offer all families and players the following camp discounts:

1. If you have attended MAGDALENO SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP 2010, or attended any Sunday clinic or taken lessons from us this year the cost of the final week of camp will be just $90!

2. If you have attended camp for two weeks or more the cost of camp is $85.00.

3. If you have attended camp for either three or four weeks the cost of camp is $80.00

Also, on behalf of our organization we would like to offer the following SIBLING DISCOUNT PROGRAM!

1. If you have two family members that have come to camp this summer and they want to attend the final week of camp the second member of the family comes to camp with an additional $15.00 discount. As an example, two brothers have come to two camps this summer, so the oldest brother would come to the final week of camp $90.00, while the younger sibling would come to camp for $75.00.

2. If two or more family members have come to camp this summer the second family member gets the before mentioned additional $15.00 discount, the third sibling receives a additional $20.00 discount. As an example, the brothers or sisters have attended three camps this summer, which means that the oldest brother comes to camp for $85.00, the second sibling comes to camp for $70.00 and the youngest brother comes to camp for $65.00.

I would like to extend my personal thanks to all of you that have entrusted your young athletes to our staff. I can tell you that we have given you 100% of our effort and we take great pride to making baseball enjoyable and at the same time teaching the game that we all love.

The Magdaleno School of Baseball is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year the Session Five Camp will honor the Men and Women, who serve in the United States Military.
Any family with a member of their family in the military will receive a 10-percent discount and all campers will receive a camp shirt that honors all those who have choosen to serve in any branch of the U.S. Military.

MAGDALENO SUMMER CAMPS

The popular summer camps will be held at Huntsinger Park in Ventura. There will be six consecutive weeks of camp in 2010! The camps start at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. The camps will be five days long and there will be an early drop off period at 8 a.m. AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. A snack bar will be provided on a daily basis. Each camper will receive a camp shirt and every week the camp shirt design will change.
The cost of the five-day camp is $115.00, however, there is a multiple week discount. The multiple week discount is as follows:
ONE WEEK CAMP REGISTRATION: $115.00 ($5.75 PER HOUR)
SECOND WEEK CAMP REGISTRATION: $105.00 ($5.25 PER HOUR)
THIRD WEEK CAMP REGISTRATION: $100.00 ($5.00 PER HOUR)
FOURTH WEEK OF CAMP REGISTRATION: $95.00 ($4.75 PER HOUR)
FIFTH WEEK OF CAMP REGISTRATION: $90.00 ($4.50 PER HOUR)
SIXTH WEEK OF CAMP REGISTRATION: $85.00 ($4.25 PER HOUR)
The camps will run on the following dates:

Session 2 -- Monday, June 28 to Friday, July 2/COMPLETED

We are proud to announce that Scooter Coleman will be in charge of the lunch time menu for the second consecutive year.

Scooter, a standout athlete at both Buena High School and Ventura College, owns and operates what is now one of the most sought after catering companies in Ventura County.

Scooter and his staff will prepare daily sandwiches and provide snacks and drinks for our athletes during the 2010 Summer Camp Sessions.
