Our Family Business

Sharing a clubhouse with his son, Mark, during the 2006-2007 homecoming season was a great experience for Mags. Coach Magdaleno says, "I am thankful that Coach Don Adams allowed me to come and coach in my hometown and that I had the opportunity to coach my son."

We cover the fundamentals of the game while focusing on player weaknesses and turning them into strengths. Covering every aspect of the game from breaking out of a batting slump to how to read and think like a pitcher. Our purpose is to prepare each player to perform the mechanics and fundamentals of the game. To teach young players to respect the game and to help them compete based on the Five C's: Courage, Composure, Competitiveness, Communication and Class. Although I am a coach for Ventura College the Magdaleno School of Baseball is not affiliated with the college.

Coach Magdaleno takes time to sign an autograph, while managing the Alexandria Beetles in the Northwoods League. "The bat was worth more than the autograph! Kids.....they are what makes the game great and I hope that we can be a positive influence on lives not only the baseball field, but off it as well."
